Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting rental equipment, materials and supplies to various customer locations in the North East ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This position requires a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and the ability to operate different types of trucks and heavy equipment.

Duties:

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Transport goods and materials from distribution centers to customer locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Secure equipment properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Plan routes and manage delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate deliveries.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and delivery protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all applicable DOT regulations and guidelines for commercial drivers.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CDL Class A Truck Driver.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
