Diesel Mechanic

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and industrial sandblasting equipment. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, reading wiring diagrams, following troubleshooting procedures, working collaboratively with team members, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and industrial equipment
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and ensure accurate repairs
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior mechanical experience required
• Strong electrical skills
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance procedures
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Familiarity with industrial equipment is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Teachable attitude
