1600 CFM Air Dryer
Axxiom Schmidt
Description
Behind insufficient air supply, moisture is the second largest enemy to blasting productivity. Wet air causes flash rusting, clogs blast pots with damp abrasives, damages control valves, and reduces blasting productivity. Blasting operations that simply add a Schmidt® AirPrep System have documented increased production of 12% to 15%.
*Rental comes filled with desiccant, additional desiccant used to refill the unit will be an additional charge*

Aftercooler Systems (ACS)
Axxiom Schmidt
Description
In the Aftercooler System (ACS), the air rises through a stainless steel particulate filter that attracts condensed moisture. Removed moisture is collected in the bottom of the separator tank. The dryer, cooler air then exits the tank for use in the abrasive blasting operation.
Size Options:
250 cfm, 400 cfm, 750 cfm, 950 cfm, 1200 cfm, 1600 cfm, 2000 cfm, 2500 cfm -
Air Drying Systems (ADS)
Axxiom Schmidt
Description
In the Air Dryer System (ADS), the air rises through a bed of marbles and into deliquescent/desiccant tablets inside the tank before the air exits the vessel. Approximately 50% of residual moisture is removed (after cooling). Removed moisture is collected in the bottom of the separator tank. An after-filter removes particulates that may have become airborne, then used in the abrasive blasting operation.
Size Options:
250 cfm, 400 cfm, 750 cfm, 950 cfm, 1200 cfm, 1600 cfm, 2000 cfm, 2500 cfm -
Blast Pak PRO 100
Van Air
Description
The Blast Pak PRO is an ideal solution for mobile blasting contractors. Wet compressed air clogs blasting pots and compromise the quality of the blasted substrate by putting moisture back on the surface. This moisture then flashes to rust, necessitating costly re-work. Dry air is the key to superior surface preparation.
Size: 1600 cfm PRO 100
*Rental comes filled with desiccant, additional desiccant used to refill the unit will be an additional charge*

Moisture Separator
Axxiom Schmidt
Description
Helps reduce the amount of moisture in the blasting system, for smoother flow of abrasives and reduced contamination of controls. Suitable for drier, more arid environments where the level of performance offered by an AirPrep Aftercooler or Air Dryer may not be needed.

Portable Air-Cooled Aftercooler
ADI
Description
Air-Cooled Aftercoolers use ambient air to lower the temperature of compressed air. These tools pass air over a set of warmed coils to condense any existing water vapor into liquid. This liquid is then removed through a drain within the unit's housing to prevent buildup within a larger compressed air system.
Options: 250 CFM, 375 CFM
